Rafael da Silva admits he 's tried to convince Santos star Neymar about joining him at Manchester United.
Rafael was interviewed by Fox Sports Radio on Thursday and asked about his fellow Brazilian Neymar's future.
"I wanted him to come to Manchester but I think it is difficult at this
moment," the full-back admitted. "I think he will choose Spain and
perhaps this is the best option for him at Barcelona or Real Madrid. I think it is time for him to come to Europe."
Rafael also conceded it would be "difficult" for the Reds to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
