Man United ‘s move for £23 million man draws ever closer

There has been some reports on the Daily Star website which have claimed Manchester United are drawing ever closer to the summer capture of Everton star Marouane Fellaini.

Everton boss David Moyes will take over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford and he has been widely tipped to make big Belgian Fellaini one of his first United signings.

The Scot splashed out a club record £15m for Fellaini in 2008 and the purchase – one of the rare occasions Moyes has really broke the bank – has proven to be a shrewd one.

Fellaini earlier this week hinted he could be open to a departure but only “to a club where the manager really wants me”. (Daily Star)

It will be interesting to see just who Moyes takes with him to United as there are a few quality players at Everton that could make a real impact at Old Trafford.
