Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is still angry over the manner of their Champions League exit to Real Madrid
The turning point was Nani's dismissal by ref Cüneyt Cakir.
Van Persie told Algemeen Dagblad: "Nani could not help it, he
hardly touched Álvaro Arbeloa. For an hour everything was good, the
tactics right. We really had the feeling that we were going to score the
second goal and then it would become very difficult for Real Madrid.
"But when the referee pulled out the red card ..."
Van Persie continued: "The worst thing is that UEFA supports him.
"I think that is cowardly, because I do not understand it. Why not say honestly: 'He has not seen it?'"
